LOS ANGELES, May 12 (UPI) -- Redmond O'Neal has completed a program at a drug rehab facility in Los Angeles and is moving into a sober living environment, People.com said Wednesday.

O'Neal, 25, is the son of the late actress Farrah Fawcett and her longtime partner, actor Ryan O'Neal. The younger O'Neal's court-ordered drug rehab stay came after he was arrested for drug offenses in January 2008 and subsequently violated the terms of his probation.

"It's a big, big day for Redmond," his attorney, Richard Pintal, told People.com of O'Neal's completion of his time in the drug rehab. "Redmond has come so far. He's really feeling great."
