Mom: Mueller wants to reconcile with Sheen

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Brooke Mueller hasn't spoken to U.S. actor Charlie Sheen since he was arrested for allegedly assaulting her, but she hopes to reconcile with him, her mom said.

Sheen was arrested Dec. 25 after Mueller told police her husband grabbed her by the neck and threatened her at knife-point. Sheen has denied the allegations.

The couple married in 2008 and have twin infant sons together. They reportedly have been living in different locations since the alleged Christmas Day incident.

"She hasn't spoken with him," Moira Fiore, Mueller's mother, told E! News. "But she wants to reconcile with him."

Fiore added she has "mixed emotions about" the possibility of the couple reuniting.

Asked how she feels about the notion of her baby grandsons being in the same house as Sheen, Fiore told E! News, "I'd rather not comment about that."
