LAS VEGAS, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- U.S. singer-actress Christina Milian says she is pregnant, an announcement that comes less than a month after she married rapper The Dream in Las Vegas.
The 28-year-old singer, who made an appearance at the MGM Grand's Tabu lounge Friday, said she and her new husband are excited about their impending parenthood, People.com reported Saturday.
"My husband and I are expecting," the "Dip It Low" singer said of their first child. "We're about 4 1/2 months along, about 19 weeks.
"We're really excited."
Milian, whose acting credits include roles in "Be Cool" and "Pulse," downplayed the apparent spontaneous nature of her wedding to The Dream, whose real name is Terius Nash.
"Honestly, it was kind of planned," she said. "We were engaged for many months."
