Gilles Marini undergoes shoulder surgery

LOS ANGELES, June 3 (UPI) -- French actor and "Dancing with the Stars" runner-up Gilles Marini has undergone surgery to fix a shoulder he injured on the TV dance program.

"I am out now," Marini said in an e-mail updating E! News about his operation Tuesday. "Shoot, it hurts. LOL. It's the post-Cheryl Burke treatment. LOL."

Marini, 33, is married with two children. He is best known for his roles in "Sex and the City: The Movie," "Ugly Betty," "Dirty Sexy Money," "Criminal Minds," "Windfall," "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "Passions."
