LOS ANGELES, June 2 (UPI) -- A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has established a conservatorship for actor Peter Falk, who suffers from dementia, to be supervised by his wife, Shera.

Falk's daughter Catherine had battled her step-mother in court for control of the 81-year-old film and TV star's healthcare and financial affairs. Catherine also accused Falk's wife of 30 years of barring her from seeing her father.

Although Judge Aviva K. Bobb ruled in favor of Shera Monday, E! News said Bobb also ordered her to allow Catherine to make bimonthly visits to her father at the home of one of Falk's neighbors.
