NEW YORK, May 26 (UPI) -- The 63rd annual Tony Awards show is to be broadcast live from New York for the first time in high definition television, CBS said Tuesday.
The prize presentation honoring the best on Broadway during the 2008-09 season is slated to take place at Manhattan's Radio City Music Hall June 7.
Confirmed to be presenters at the event are Lucie Arnaz, Kate Burton, Kristin Chenoweth, Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, Edie Falco, Will Ferrell, Carrie Fisher, Jane Fonda, Hallie Foote, James Gandolfini, Lauren Graham, Colin Hanks, Marcia Gay Harden, Nicole Kidman, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Lange, Frank Langella, Angela Lansbury, Audra McDonald, David Hyde Pierce, Piper Perabo, Oliver Platt, Susan Sarandon, Kevin Spacey, John Stamos and Chandra Wilson, the network said in a release.
As previously announced, Neil Patrick Harris, star of the CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother," will serve as the awards show's host.
