LOS ANGELES, March 7 (UPI) -- "Dancing with the Stars" Executive Producer Conrad Green says the sudden loss of two celebrity competitors will not torpedo the U.S. TV series.

Green downplayed the last-minute loss of singer Jewel and "Access Hollywood" star Nancy O'Dell to injuries, saying the ABC series has dealt with the unexpected before, People.com reported Friday.

"We're quite used to dealing with emergencies at our show," Green said.

Meanwhile, an unidentified source close to the series said the identities of the two replacement celebrities would be revealed during Monday's Season 8 premiere.

The source said with the sudden withdrawal of Jewel and O'Dell, neither of the two new celebrity dancers will have had much practice time by the two-hour premiere.

"It will be a shocking reveal to viewers because these people have had little to no rehearsal time," the source told People.
