OCALA, Fla., Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Film stars John Travolta and Kelly Preston plan to hold a private funeral service for their only son Jett in Ocala, Fla., where they have a home.

E! News said the memorial is believed to be scheduled for Thursday afternoon at Jumbolair Aviation Estates where the teen lived with his famous parents and 8-year-old sister Ella.

Jett died in the Bahamas last Friday at the age of 16, reportedly of a seizure. He was cremated Monday and his parents brought his ashes home in an urn shortly after an autopsy.

E! said Jett's funeral service is expected to reflect the family's Scientology faith and to be attended by close friends and family. It was unclear if any of Travolta or Preston's celebrity friends would be there to pay their respects.

The gates of the mourning family's estate are adorned with flowers, posters and messages of condolence from fans and other well-wishers, the entertainment news program said on its Web site.
