'Wall Street' sequel in the works

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Hollywood's Fox movie studio is planning a sequel to Oliver Stone's 1987 ode to greed, "Wall Street."

The Hollywood Reporter said the new film is called "Money Never Sleeps," however, details of the plot are being closely guarded.

Michael Douglas, who won an Oscar for his portrayal of ruthless corporate raider Gordon Gekko in the original film, is said to be interested in appearing in the follow-up, but won't decide whether to do so until he has seen the completed screenplay, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.
