NEW YORK, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- A New York judge reportedly has upheld Damon Dash's sole custody of his 16-year-old son, Damon Jr.
The New York Post said Dash's ex-girlfriend Linda Williams signed the teen up for classes at a Long Island, N.Y., school when he went to visit her last week, even though Damon Jr. was supposed to go to school in Manhattan where he lives with his father.
Williams did not attend Wednesday's hearing at the Manhattan Family Court, during which Judge Susan Knipps ruled Williams was to send Damon Jr. back to his father, the Post said.
Knipps also ordered Williams to appear in court Monday.
"Damon's position is we expect the child to be turned over immediately, and we expect Ms. Williams to comply with the judge's orders," Dash's attorney, Robert Wallack, told the newspaper.
