'Earl' star Lee father to baby daughter

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 23 (UPI) -- The girlfriend of actor Jason Lee, the star of the hit U.S. TV series "My Name is Earl," has given birth to a daughter, the actor's representative confirms.

The unidentified representative said the TV star and his girlfriend, Ceren Alkac, became parents to their first child together Aug. 10, People magazine reported Friday.

The magazine previously issued an exclusive report regarding the couple's upcoming parenthood before Lee publicly announced his good fortune on NBC's "Today" show.

People said the 38-year-old actor already has a 4-year-old son, Pilot Inspektor, with actress Beth Riesgraf.
