NASHVILLE, June 3 (UPI) -- Several extras on the Tennessee set of the new "Hannah Montana" movie suffered minor injuries in a Ferris wheel accident Tuesday, witnesses said.

The entertainment news Web site TMZ.com said several bit players were hurt when high winds blew a piece of lighting equipment into the amusement ride on which they were passengers.

Medics reportedly transported the injured to a hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.

Miley Cyrus, who plays the movie's title character, had just finished a scene on a nearby stage when the mishap occurred, TMZ.com said.
