NEW YORK, April 25 (UPI) -- NBC TV's "ER" star Mekhi Phifer will produce and star in the big screen adaption of James L. White's graphic novel "Hunter's Moon."
Phifer will portray a stockbroker trying to save his son from kidnappers.

"Hunter's Moon" debuted as a comic series last year and came out in graphic novel form this month, The Reporter said.
It will mark White's first screenplay since "Ray," The Hollywood Reporter said.
Phifer's most recent starring/producing effort was "This Christmas," which The Reporter says pulled in $49 million at the box office.
