Carey to fill in for Jackson on 'SNL'

NEW YORK, March 12 (UPI) -- U.S. singer Mariah Carey is to be the musical guest on the next episode of the sketch comedy show "Saturday Night Live," NBC announced Wednesday.

Janet Jackson, who was originally scheduled to perform, is reportedly ill with the flu.

"Superbad" and "Knocked Up" actor Jonah Hill is to serve as guest host for the show Saturday.
