Travolta family spends summer in Conn.

GREENWICH, Conn., Aug. 6 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor John Travolta and his family have reportedly relocated to Greenwich, Conn., for the summer to work on the new Disney movie, “Old Dogs.”

Travolta, his wife Kelly Preston and their 7-year-old daughter, Ella, star in the film, alongside Oscar-winning funny man Robin Williams and veteran actor Matt Dillon.

Helmed by Travolta’s “Wild Hogs” director Walt Becker, the movie is shooting in Greenwich, Stamford and other parts of Fairfield County, the (Stamford, Conn.) Advocate reported Monday.

To accommodate their filming schedule, the Travolta family is renting a house on Round Hill Road, said the owner who did not want it identified for privacy reasons.

Travolta's publicist could not be reached for comment.

The movie, which is about two single friends and business partners who find themselves forced to care for 7-year-old twins, qualifies for the state's tax credit program, the newspaper noted.
