DENVER, July 30 (UPI) -- Rocker Ozzy Osbourne had to break from his Ozzfest tour during the weekend to recover from outpatient surgery in Denver.
Osbourne, 59, had surgery late Saturday to remove a blood clot in his leg and recuperated Sunday, The Denver Post said. He was taken to a Denver hospital after performing in Ozzfest appearance at Coors Amphitheatre.

He traveled to Kansas City, Mo., Sunday, where he was scheduled to headline Ozzfest Monday.
Osbourne won a Grammy in 2000 as part of metal band Black Sabbath. As a member of the group, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.
