Marc Foster to direct new Bond movie

LONDON, June 19 (UPI) -- Marc Foster has signed on to direct the new James Bond film, which will start production in December at London's Pinewood Studios.

The film, the 22nd in the 007 series will have Daniel Craig return as British secret agent James Bond, Variety.com reported Tuesday.

Craig made his Bond debut in "Casino Royale," which took in almost $600 million at the box office worldwide.

Foster and Craig will work with write Paul Haggis on a draft of the screenplay by Neil Purvis and Robert Wade.

The film is set to be distributed by Columbia Nov. 7, 2008.
