BERLIN, May 19 (UPI) -- Berlin woman who claims to be Paul McCartney's lovechild has accused the former Beatle of faking a paternity test to prove he was not her father.
Bettina Krischbin, 46, claims McCartney sent a double to take the paternity test for him 20 years ago, The Telegraph reported Saturday.
"The signature on the documents he signed at the time was false," she said. "We found the signature is from a right-handed person and he is not.
"I want a new paternity test," she added. "It is my right."
Krischbin now has two children of her own, but still wants to know whether or not the rock superstar is her father. She said she was conceived in Hamburg in the 1960s, before the Beatles rose to world fame
Now, McCartney is under investigation by Germany for fraud, the newspaper said.
Krischbin's mother, Erika Hubers, 64, also said she fully supports her daughter's wish to be recognized as McCartney's daughter.
"I think we have a good chance now, because he lied to the court -- provided it with false evidence," she said.
