Keanu Reeves' car hits photographer

LOS ANGELES, March 20 (UPI) -- "Matrix" actor Keanu Reeves' car struck a photographer as the actor was pulling out of a parking space in Los Angeles, sheriff's officials said.

The photographer was taken to a hospital by ambulance, People magazine reported Tuesday. Reeves was not injured.

"(Mr.) Reeves pulled out of a parking space parallel to the curb and grazed a paparazzo standing in the street in front of Mr. Reeves's 1996 Porsche," the sheriff's office said in a statement. "The man fell to the ground. Paramedics were summoned and treated the man at the scene. He was then transported via ambulance to a local hospital for further treatment."

No citations were issued in Monday's accident.
