NEW YORK, March 20 (UPI) -- After two previous albums, British singer Joss Stone is "Introducing" herself.
"People get confused by it -- understandably," the 19-year-old Stone said of the new "Introducing Joss Stone." "They're like, 'Hang on, were we hearing, like, a fake Joss before?'
"And I'm like, 'No, no, no ...You just weren't hearing my vision. It was somebody else's vision that I just happened to be singing on.'"
The new album was produced by former Tony! Toni! Tone! leader Raphael Saadiq, who's also Stone's current boyfriend. It features guest appearances by rapper Common and the Fugees' reclusive Lauryn Hill.
Stone begins touring to support the album in April, with a North American leg in May that includes the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
