NEW YORK, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor George Clooney says he is a little more cautious about doing stunts since he was seriously injured while making the 2005 film, "Syriana."
People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" has several fight scenes, including one with "Spider-Man" star Tobey Maguire, in Steven Soderbergh's new period movie, "The Good German."
"There was certainly a concern since I'm wearing a back brace right now," the Oscar-winning actor told UPI in New York.
"It was only a concern in terms of dumb things like snapping your head and stuff because I really had just had surgery, but Steven was really careful with me. He's a good friend, so he looked out for me," Clooney explained. "Listen, every movie I've done for the last 10 years, I get the hell beat out of me. I don't know. I gotta pick better."
Asked if he could beat Maguire in a real-life fight, Clooney joked: "It's a tough call. ... Spider-man vs. an old Batman. He's young and he's got that tight suit. He's bigger than you think. He's a strong kid, but I'll play dirty."
