Lupe Fiasco honored in GQ magazine

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Atlantic Records recording artist Lupe Fiasco has been named one of GQ Magazine's "Men of the Year 2006."

He has received the "Breakout" honors on the annual ranking, reported Atlantic Records in a news release.

The rapper joins star icons, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jay-Z, Will Ferrell, Al Gore and the cast of "Jackass" on the list.

Fiasco will appear on the "Late Show with David Letterman" to celebrate the GQ award. He will perform his new single, "Daydreamin'," accompanied by Jill Scott, who is featured on the track.
