In December, VH1 Classic is planning to air a 1977 Christmas special presenting The Kinks, one of Britain's best rock successes. During the special, the Kinks perform many of their classic songs, including "Lola," "Sleepwalker," "Life On The Road," "Well Respected Man" and "Sunny Afternoon."

Later in the month, the network will air a Rod Stewart Christmas special from 1976 when Stewart performed at London's Olympia Theatre.

VH1 Classic's December lineup marks the U.S. premiere of both The Kinks and the Stewart specials.
