CHICAGO, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Gayle King, the best friend of U.S. TV talk show host Oprah Winfrey, has alleged her husband's infidelity spelled the end of their marriage.
King made the infidelity allegations against her lawyer ex-husband on her XM Satellite Radio show, "Oprah & Friends," Tuesday morning while interviewing film actor Will Smith, TMZ.com reported.
"I was married to a cheater," King told the "Ali" star on the program. "I went to marital counseling. I have been divorced since 1993, so I'm all healed and everything."
The mother-of-two had previously spoken out publicly when allegations were made that her relationship with Winfrey extended beyond mere friendship.
TMZ.com said that in that instance, King flatly denied any romantic links to the famed TV host, claiming that they are merely best friends.
