LOS ANGELES, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Shorts International has released 16 short films by graduates of the American Film Institute Conservatory in Los Angeles for sale at the iTunes Store.
The move brings lesser-known shorts into the public arena, featuring such films as "Just for a Laugh" with Robin Williams and Andy Kaufman; the 1999 Academy Award winner "My Mother Dreams the Satan's Disciples in New York"; and Alexandra Kerry's directorial debut, "The Last Full Measure."
"These are incredible films," said Carter Pilcher, head of Shorts International. "When you watch them you'll be amazed that you haven't seen them until now. These AFI films are huge."
Jonathan Estrin, Executive Vice President of AFI, said iTunes made sense as a way to show the films in the modern entertainment environment.
