Hacker set to sell iPod copyright code

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- A U.S. computer hacker who calls himself "DVD Jon" claims he has broken the copy-protection codes on Apple and iTunes products.

He plans to license the code and sell it to others through Double Twist Ventures, netmusic.com reported Wednesday.

"There's a certain amount of trouble that Apple can give us, but not enough to stop this," Monique Farantzos of Double Twist Venture told netmusic. "We believe we're on good legal ground and our attorneys have given us the green light on this."

DVD Jon also claims to have created a similar code for DVD and posted it online for free.
