New Ramones cover CD for kids

NEW YORK, Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Nov. 21 will mark the launch of a new 12 song Ramones cover CD geared specifically at children.

The CD, "Brats on the Beat," will include covers of songs like "Rockaway Beach," "Sheena is a Punk Rocker," "Blitzkrieg Bop," "Spiderman" and "California Sun" done by some of punk music's well known veterans, Punkbands.com reported Wednesday.

The cover bands include Jim Lindberg of Pennywise, Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio, Ash Guff of Guff, Josie Cotton, and Spooney of the Gabba Gabba Heys.
