Produced by Touchstone TV, "Brothers & Sisters" is the second-highest rated show among adults ages 18-49, next to NBC's "Heroes."

"Brothers & Sisters" centers around the inner workings of a close California family.

ABC Entertainment proxy Steve McPherson said the show gives ABC "a strong complement to 'Desperate Housewives.'"

"Close to Home," by Bruckheimer and Warner Bros. TV, averaged more than 11 million viewers on its Friday night slot, Daily Variety reported.
