Outdoor Life Network changing its name

NEW YORK, Sept. 5 (UPI) -- The Outdoor Life Network is officially changing its name later this month to Versus.

The Outdoor Life Network began in 1995 when it bought the rights to air the National Hockey League games, but was best known for airing Lance Armstrong's seven Tour de France wins.

The network, which currently is in 70 million homes, said it will become Versus on Sept. 25.
