HIGHLAND PARK, Ill., Aug. 22 (UPI) -- Spanish tenor Placido Domingo will appear at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, Ill., with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in summer 2007.
The opera superstar will headline Ravinia's fundraiser Aug. 4, 2007. Domingo will perform with the orchestra conducted by music director James Conlon.

Domingo last appeared at the Ravinia Fesitval as a singer and conductor in 1994, the Chicago Tribune reported.
The tenor is general director of the Los Angeles Opera where Conlon assumes a new position this fall as music director.
