LOS ANGELES, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Hollywood star Gillian Anderson says her current pregnancy is very different from her pregnancy with her first child, Piper, 11.
In a posting on her Web site, the former "X-Files" star said her work on the Emmy-winning show might have diverted her attention from her pregnancy with her daughter, People magazine reported.
"I have to say, the first time round I was oblivious to the miracle and the stages and the joy," she wrote. "I mean, honestly, I cannot remember P kicking! Was it the hours, the FX smoke, the dummies with maggots eating their eyes out? What distracted me from such an important and momentous experience!?"
Anderson -- who won an Emmy in 1997 for "The X-Files" -- wrote that she has spent this year focusing on what is most important to her in life. That likely would include the baby's father, businessman Mark Griffiths, People said.
