Petition asking for Beyoncé video re-shoot

NEW YORK, July 21 (UPI) -- A fan petition has asked singer Beyoncé's label to order a re-shoot of her recent video "Déjà vu," saying the newly released product is "underwhelming."

Fans put the petition together to send to Columbia Records after being disappointed with Knowles' newest video offering, TMZ. com reported.

The petition calls the video's fashion sense "unbelievable and ridiculous," and says the dancing is "erratic, confusing and alarming."

The creators of the petition also found the 24-year-old singer's scenes in the video with her boyfriend, rapper Jay-Z, to be inappropriate.

Neither Beyoncé nor Columbia Records had any comment.

The "Dangerously in Love" singer has a new album, "B'Day," due in stores on Sept. 5, TMZ.com said.
