LONDON, July 21 (UPI) -- Christina Aguilera, in Britain to promote her new album, says the project reflects changes in her life.
The "Genie in a Bottle" singer, appearing on British TV Friday, said the songs on "Back to Basics" -- like those on her previous albums -- are a bit autobiographical, People reported.
"I definitely write according to specific things that are going on in my life," said the four-time Grammy winner, "and just having been married there is definitely one man in my life and there ain't no other man."
The first single from "Back to Basics" is "Ain't No Other Man," in which Aguilera, 25, sings of her 2005 marriage to music executive Jordan Bratman.
Aguilera also talked about her desire to have children, and growing up with an absentee father.
"I never really had this father figure, which never bothered me," she said. "I had my mom, I had people that did love me and care for me."
