Comedy Central to air Chappelle sketch

NEW YORK, July 15 (UPI) -- Comedy Central is set to air the sketch that prompted comedian Dave Chappelle to walk away from his show, the New York Post reported.

"The Pixie Sketch," as it is called, is scheduled to air on Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT.

In the sketch, Chappelle reportedly plays various pixies who encourage black, white, Hispanic and Asian people to conform to racial stereotypes.

Earlier this year, in interviews, Chappelle said that this sketch led him to believe the show's writing had become "socially irresponsible."

Before completing the sketch, Chappelle walked away from the set and a $50 million deal with Comedy Central. After blasting the network, Chappelle later surfaced in South Africa.
