Angelina Jolie back into public's eye

LOS ANGELES, July 11 (UPI) -- Angelina Jolie is ending her maternity leave, taking her first big screen job since her daughter was born, voicing a character for DreamWorks "Kung Fu Panda."

She has agreed to voice the character Tigress, a martial arts master who has to train a very lazy panda bear, played by Jack Black, the art of Kung Fu so that he can defend china against evil, e! Online reported Tuesday.

The new animated film reunites the voices of Jolie and Black, who previously costarred together in DreamWorks' "Shark Tale."

Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, Dustin Hoffman and Ian McShane also star in the movie, due out in May 2008.

But fans won't have to wait that long to see Jolie on the big screen, before she left for Namibia, Jolie finished filming the CIA drama "The Good Shepherd" opposite Matt Damon, it is due out in December.
