'The Sopranos' to become a video game

LOS ANGELES, May 4 (UPI) -- HBO's mob drama, "The Sopranos," is getting ready to wrap up its TV run, but will live on as a video game.

Video game publisher THQ says its "Sopranos" game should be out in the fall for Xbox 360 and Playstation 2 platforms, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Lending their likenesses and voices to the game will be James "Tony Soprano" Gandolfini, Tony "Paulie Walnuts" Sircio, Michael "Christopher Moltisani" Imperioli and Steven "Silvio Dante" Van Zandt.

"Fans of the show are always looking for other ways to get connected to the series and characters, so putting a game controller in their hands along with a TV remote lets them be part of the show in a way they can't by just watching television," HBO's Carmi Zlotnik said.
