SANTA MONICA, Calif., March 20 (UPI) -- A host of TV veterans packed the Santa Monica Airport for the tongue-in-cheek TV Land Awards.

For example, there was tie Sunday night for the "Character Most Desperately in Need of a Timeout" between Alison Arngrim who was Nellie Oleson on "Little House on the Prairie" and Danielle Spencer who played Dee Thomas on "What's Happening!"

Pork chops and applesauce as seen on "The Brady Bunch" was crowned "Favorite TV Food" and "Grey's Anatomy" took the award for "Future Classic," the Los Angeles Daily News reported Monday.

There were some serious awards as well. The "Pioneer Award" went to Sid Caesar of "Your Show of Shows" while "Good Times" was honored with an "Impact Award" for blending serious issues with comedy.

The "Pop Culture" Award went to "Dallas," the "Legend Award" went to "Cheers" and "Batman" was honored on its 40th anniversary.
