Another Aerosmith show bites the dust

EAST LANSING, Mich., March 16 (UPI) -- The Aerosmith/Cheap Trick concert at the Breslin Center in East Lansing, Mich., has become the latest to be canceled because of illness.

The Friday night concert was the latest in a string of shows called off because Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler's "voice issue," a Breslin spokesman told the Lansing State Journal.

"It's really unfortunate. We had fans coming from all over the state for this show," director Scott Breckner told the newspaper, adding more than 8,000 tickets had been sold as of Wednesday.

Breckner noted at least Michigan fans got advance notice of the cancellation.

In Lexington, Ky., Cheap Trick was already warming up at the venue when word came that Aerosmith was going to be a no-show.
