LOS ANGELES, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Actor Vince Vaughn is poised to reunite with "Wedding Crashers" director David Dobkin for the Warner Bros. holiday comedy, "Fred Claus."
Once the $20 million deal is sealed, Vaughn would star as Santa's loser brother in the script written by Dan Fogelman, Daily Variety reported Monday.

The plot follows the black sheep brother as he returns to the North Pole to try and redeem himself.
In addition to "Wedding Crashers," Vaughn's screen resume includes "Swingers," "Dodgeball" and "Mr. & Mrs. Smith."
He next stars with Jennifer Aniston in the comedy, "The Break Up."
