LOS ANGELES, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- "Lost" star Matthew Fox is joining Matthew McConaughey in a film about the 1970 plane crash that killed the Marshall University football team.
The yet-untitled drama will focus on events after the crash that killed team members, coaches, members of the media and team boosters, The Hollywood Reporter said Wednesday.

McConaughey will portray coach Jack Lengyel and Fox will play coach Red Dawson in the film, the Reporter said.
Fox's only other big screen credit was the 1993 comedy "My Boyfriend's Back" with a young Philip Seymour Hoffman.
