Jason Ritter enters 'The Class'

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Former "Joan of Arcadia" star Jason Ritter has joined the cast of the new CBS comedy series, "The Class," it was reported Thursday.

Ritter -- son of the late actor John Ritter -- will star as Ethan, who throws a party for his girlfriend in the first episode, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Ethan invites six people -- who all went through third grade with the couple -- and the series goes on to follow the lives of the reunited classmates.
