SYDNEY, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost" star Patrick Swayze says he is writing, then shooting, a film centered in Australia.
"I'm looking to shoot a movie in Australia," Swayze told the Sydney Herald Sun. "You've got to look outside of Hollywood if you want to find people with passion.

"I've actually got an idea for this friendship that happens with a couple of Australian natives and an Australian guy and an American guy."
Swayze, 53, said he has started his own film company as he moves behind the camera.
In the meantime, he is traveling Australia to promote his latest star turn, the British comedy that opens next week, "Keeping Mum."
