Celebs lined up for Golden Globes nods

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Actors Kate Beckinsale, Steve Carell and Mark Wahlberg were named Thursday as celebrity announcers for the 63rd annual Golden Globe nominations.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association will reveal its nominees in 24 categories Tuesday morning at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles.

Anthony Hopkins has already been announced as the recipient of the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement, which will presented during the Jan. 16 ceremony. NBC will carry the event live.

Dakota Johnson, 16, the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, was named 2006 Miss Golden Globe -- the first daughter of a former Miss Golden Globe to ever be selected, the Hollywood Foreign Press said.
