LOS ANGELES, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Billy Crudup will play a misogynistic children's writer forced to collaborate with Mandy Moore in the romantic comedy, "Dedication."

Harvey Keitel will play Crudup's doomed only friend and Mia Farrow will portray Moore's overbearing mother in the film to be directed by actor Justin Theroux, Daily Variety reported Tuesday.

Filming is expected to begin early next year.
