Carson Daly readies sitcom for NBC

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- A comedy being produced by Carson Daly has been given a script commitment by NBC, it was reported Friday.

"Tall and Small" is being produced by NBC Universal Television Studio and Daly's studio-based production company, The Hollywood Reporter said.

The show is about the adventures of two neurotic friends in their mid-20s.

Paul Davies will write the project with Daly executive producing, The Reporter said.

Daly also announced the hiring of Ruth Caruso as head of development for Carson Daly Productions and co-producer of "Tall and Small." Caruso has worked with Diplomatic Television, the Jim Henson Co., FremantleMedia and the WB Network.
