Juanes continues Latin Grammy roll

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Colombia's Juanes took home Latin Grammy Awards for best rock solo album, best rock song and best video at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium.

Juanes was the all-time awards leader going into Thursday's ceremony with nine wins, The Hollywood Reporter said Friday. Grammys for his album, "Mi Sangre," song "Nada Valgo Sin Tu Amor," and video "Volverte a Ver" expanded his honors to 12.

The Latin Grammys for song of the year and record of the year went to Alejandro Sanz's "Tu No Tienes Alma." The album of the year award went to Brazilian carioca singer-songwriter Ivan Lins for "Cantando Historias."

Spain's Bebe was named best new artist, while Tejano group Intocable's "Diez" won best norteno album and its single "Aire" was named best regional Mexican song.

New York's Marc Anthony had the best salsa album, "Valio la Pena," and New Jersey-bred Puerto Rican Obie Bermudez won the best male pop vocal album award for "Todo el Ano."

Los Angeles-based Ozomatli won the Latin Grammy for best alternative album for "Street Signs" and Gustavo Santaolalla was named producer of the year.
