NEW YORK, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- British actor Clive Owen says he is not upset that Daniel Craig will replace Pierce Brosnan as James Bond instead of him.

"I wasn't disappointed at all," Owen told reporters in New York Sunday.

"There was a lot of media speculation, but there was never an offer," revealed the star of "King Arthur" and next month's psychological thriller, "Derailed." "I sort of took myself out of the frame by taking a number of movies that will run into next year. They are all very different and all with very exciting people."

Although the actor won't be playing Bond, he may return for a sequel to his recent hit, "Sin City."

"They are talking about coming back next year and I was a huge fan of 'Sin City I,'" he said. "I think Robert Rodriguez is a genius. It was one of the most exciting, ground-breaking movies I've ever been a part of."
