Freddie Prinze Jr. cracks rib

NEW YORK, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- The star of ABC TV's new sitcom "Freddie" says he has no idea how he cracked a rib.

Freddie Prinze Jr., in New York to publicize his new show, said he woke up in such pain Wednesday he could barely get out of bed, the World Entertainment News Network reported Thursday.

"I have a cracked rib ... I don't even know how it happened," he said. "I woke up and I just couldn't breathe."

Prinze is married TV's former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," Sarah Michelle Gellar.
