LONDON, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" was named Thursday as the 2005 British Royal Film Performance.
The Disney movie will make its world premiere a charity gala event for the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund Dec. 7 at the Royal Albert Hall, the Hollywood Reporter said.

Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall, will be the guests of honor.
Organizers said the concert auditorium will be transformed into a "spectacular film palace for the evening" with a white carpet replacing the traditional red carpet.
