Bon Jovi rocks Times Square

NEW YORK, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- A star-studded audience was on hand as Jersey rockers Bon Jovi christened New York's Nokia Theater Times Square launching their new album, "Have a Nice Day."

The sold-out Monday night show was a multimedia event broadcast live on AOL, XM Satellite Radio and more than 100 movie screens across the country, RollingStone.com reported Tuesday.

"This is probably the smallest thing we did since dinner last night at my place," frontman Jon Bon Jovi joked.

Among the celebs rocking out in the 2,100-seat theater were Jay-Z, Beyonce and L.A. Reid, RollingStone.com said.

Bon Jovi sets off on a U.S. tour in support of "Have a Nice Day" in November.
